Poole Harbour Watch subcommittee have worked hard over the past couple of months to enable the marine community to attend this year’s Security Afloat 2023.

We have the Dorset Police Crime Commissioner David Sidwick, Assistant Chief Constable Farrell and Marine Policing Team Inspector Danny Tamblyn attending the event and you will be able to put any marine questions after all the speakers have finished. If you have any marine questions, it would be helpful if you email them to jackyhardyphw@gmail.com in advance and she will forward them on to the appropriate person.

We also have James Brown from SelectaDNA and Dave Luscombe from Datatag, who will have marine data tagging kits/systems to help you keep your boat safe.

Poole Harbour Watch representatives will be on hand to talk about how and where you can find a PHW patrol which you can join and help keep our boats safe.

Poole Harbour Watch, Poole Harbour Commissioners and the Marine Policing Team are working together to promote and encourage people to secure their boats and to report any marine crime whether it is small or large so please come to the event and help demonstrate that Poole, Christchurch, and Weymouth Harbour have a strong marine community who are determined to stop crime by securing their boats thus sending a message to the criminal element.
